Famous Dogs From Art History. A rare opportunity to buy one of two painted sets of nesting wooden dogs by London artist Holly Frean. The featured dogs from largest to smallest are: Landseer’s 1839 portrait of ‘Dignity and Impudence’, Barraud’s white dog in ‘His Master's Voice’ from 1901, the royal hound in the foreground of Velasquez’s 1656 portrait ‘Las Meninas’, Hogarth’s pug from his 1745 self portrait ‘The Painter and His Pug’ and a tiny study after Hockney’s famous dachshund series.
