"These pieces are domestic and homely, a place of comfort for me, with my two young children at home. They are vulnerable too; I felt vulnerable as a new mother and I also felt bored and anonymous. All of that is in these pictures of socks. I poured my heart and all that meaning into these pictures of socks. At points, I cried over these pictures of socks. Isn't that funny?
