When considering the perfect rug foundation for a bedroom Kit Kemp turned to an antique document in her personal collection for inspiration: A tracery pattern that has the qualities of old-world style and modern feminine charm and looks similar to a hand-blocked fabric. Luxurious wool, dyed in muted but still rich tones, is handwoven by skilled artisans into a statement piece that offers a rhythmic and authentic design, traditional in origin, but adapted with unusual colour combinations for a warm and welcoming feel. One of the modern creations from the design collaboration between Annie and Kit Kemp, united by their passion for colourful and carefree design, redefining contemporary Arts and Crafts for everyday life. Due to the handmade nature, variations in colour and slight variations in size are expected.
