Sailor's Farewell Mug Set

Kit Kemp worked alongside iconic British company Wedgwood to create a beautiful collection of specially designed china called Sailor's Farewell. Her design was based upon a collection of embroidered fabrics produced for Chelsea Textiles and has been applied to bone china, creating a unique illustrative style. A sailor's loved one is waving goodbye on a rock with her scarf flying in the wind. As she waves goodbye, the motifs around the china show the sailor's adventures on the high seas above and below the waterline. These large, fine bone china mugs are wrapped in Kit Kemp's Sailor's Farewell design, hand-painted in 24-carat gold and are beautifully presented in a gift set.
