Description

Kit Kemp worked alongside iconic British company Wedgwood to create a beautiful collection of specially designed china called Sailor's Farewell. Her design was based upon a collection of embroidered fabrics produced for Chelsea Textiles and has been applied to the bone china, creating a unique illustrative style. Our set of 4 espresso cups and matching saucers features a sailor's loved-one, waving goodbye on a rock with her scarf flying in the wind. As she waves goodbye, the motifs around the china show the sailor's adventures on the high seas above and below the waterline.
