Description

Kit Kemp has worked alongside iconic British company Wedgwood to create a beautiful collection of specially designed china called Sailor's Farewell. Her design was based upon a collection of embroidered fabrics produced for Chelsea Textiles and has been applied to the bone china creating a unique illustrative style. A sailor's loved-one is waving goodbye on a rock with her scarf flying in the wind. As she waves goodbye the motifs around the china shows the sailor's adventures on the high seas above and below the waterline.
