Her design was based upon a collection of embroidered fabrics produced for Chelsea Textiles and has been applied to the bone china creating a unique illustrative style. Kit is often influenced by a sense of the whimsical and the lyrical, as well as a love of animals. Hence the collection features a series of characters and patterns that have a primitive, folkloric feel.

Made in collaboration with Colombia Collective, handmade in Guapi on the Pacific Coast of Colombia by an artisan tribe of women. The loom weave Indigo is a highly textured and versatile woven throw with a sophisticated cool indigo stripe detail. Designed and produced by Kit Kemp in collaboration with Christopher Farr Cloth, inspired by Kit's love and interest for Bauhaus, focusing on the repetition of irregular rectangular shapes.
